Vicki, you were one of the most honest and loyal people I knew at our Charleston County workplace. You did not like witnessing wrongdoing, nor unfair treatment of others, and stated so on many occasions. That is why you were admired and that is why you became my friend.
You helped make intolerable situations tolerable. You made life fun, with a love of adventure, and a laugh, and I will miss you always.
I bet they set aside Tootsie Rolls in Heaven just for you!

She was a very sweet woman. I used to love prank call her on the phone at the jail, and I would actually be sitting right next to her. When she'd realize it was me, we'd have a good laugh. She always had a good sense of humor and a kind heart. Rest in peace, Mrs. Mathewes.
