Vicki Hollingsworth Obituary

Vicki Hollingsworth "Noni" ISLE OF PALMS - Vicki "Noni" Price Hollingsworth, 58, wife of Barry Foster Hollingsworth of Isle of Palms, SC passed away on April 14, 2010. The relatives and friends of Vicki "Noni" Hollingsworth are invited to attend her Funeral Service at St. Andrew's Church Mount Pleasant, 440 Whilden Street on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 at the home of Nancy C. G. Snowden located at 63 Society Street in Charleston. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mrs. Hollingsworth was born January 19, 1952, in Greenwood, South Carolina, daughter of James Talmadge Price and Jean Dorsey Price. She was owner and broker in charge of Century 21 Beachside Real Estate and owner of Beachside Vacations on the Isle of Palms. She also consulted as an interior decorator. Vicki was affiliated with St. Andrews Church Mount Pleasant. Her family and especially her four grandsons were the light of her life. Vicki was an avid golfer, softball player and sports fan in general. Her favorite sports pastime was Clemson football games; she was the tail-gating extraordinaire. Vicki was community minded and participated in many organizations including the Hemangioma Society Board, Republican Party, Women Making a Difference, American Heart Association, Trident Technical College Foundation, Roper St. Francis Foundation and Charleston Trident Association of Realtors. Vicki was a very loving person, saw only the good in people and identified the potential in each person she encountered. She wanted to, and did, help anyone and everyone with whom she came in contact. If someone had a problem Vic was the first to show up to "fix it". She will be terribly missed by her family and many friends here on Earth. God must have wanted her in Heaven. She lives on in our hearts, our memories and the indelible impact she had on every life she touched. We were blessed to have had her in our lives. She is survived by husband, Barry F. Hollingsworth of Isle of Palms, SC, her parents, James and Jean Price of Greenwood, SC; two sons, Beau Christian Hollingsworth and his wife, Mimi Moore Hollingsworth and their children, Beau Christian and Ben Foster Hollingsworth of the Isle of Palms, SC and Jamie Price Hollingsworth and his wife, Ryan Baker Hollingsworth, and their children, Christian Baker and Brody West Hollingsworth; one sister, Tammi Stevens and her husband, Kenny, and their children J. Motley and Tyler Foster Stevens of West Columbia, SC and one brother, James "Tab" Talmadge Price, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer and their children, Chance and Pierson Price, of Mt. Pleasant, SC. Memorials may be made to Women Making a Difference, 90 Mary Street, Charleston, SC 29403 or The Hospice Foundation of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Boulevard, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Barry, Beau & Jamie,
So sorry to hear of your loss. Even though we have been away from SC for almost 10 years, your family will always be part of a very special time in our lives - many wonderful GHS football memories - & you were so sensitive during our loss of Brian. I'm sure she is loving him right now!!!

I was her pest control person for the last 5 years, and came to love Vicki so much. She had a light that shone about her and she would just cheer you up despite the way she felt. She never let the cancer beat her because she stood up to it and gracefully conquered her pain and is now in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. I loved your mother so much and she has helped me to find wisdom and courage to face a major illness that I now face. Thanks Vicki for all you meant to me and I am sure you will be watching down upon us all.

Dear Barry, Beau, and Jamie.. I was so sorry when I heard of Vicki's passing this morning. I never dreamed when I saw her here in Greenwood at Shoney's a few months back that it would be the last time I saw her. Vicki and I met when we were in a science class together in junior high school. Long time ago, huh? She was as vivacious then as she was when I saw her at Shoney's. Her compaasion was so great when I told her of my sweet, sweet Tiffanny passing away. She was so loving and kind to me that day. She said, "As soon as I see him, Im going to tell Jamie." I truly loved Vicki and will humbly mourn for her. Please remember that my husband and I will be praying for all of you. God bless and keep you. Vicki, "bye for now buddy."
With Love and Condolences,

Vicki was indeed a very special lady and never met a stranger. Her heart was as big as heaven and I am sure that is why God has called upon her. She will always be remembered in my heart. I met Vicki through her brother Tab and know her sons Jamie and Beau. I am glad I had the opportunity to say goodbye to Vicki where she and my dad were in Hospice Center of Charleston. Now my dad and her can be rivals together at the Clemson-Carolina games.
