In loving memory of my Mother:
Vernelle Addison-Hartwell. Alpha: May 2, 1944 ~ Omega: July 11, 2022
Mommie 1 year ago today you told me goodnight for the final time and I had to prepare my heart to let you take your journey without me. All my life it you and I, we were inseparable if they saw you they saw me. A year later I'm still devastated by your absence and I think about you and remember you everyday. You were more than my Mother you were my best friend, you truly loved me UNCONDITIONALLY and supported me no matter what. The memories of you are all that have today and some days they get by but today this hole in my heart hurts. I think about how brave you were never complained about your battle with cancer, you would say "I have lived my life and it's in God's hands now". You were worried about me falling apart over your earthly departure and my Beloved Mother I try everyday to be ok but I'm wounded and my soul hurts. I pray for restoration and strength to carry on. So today one year later I want you to know that I love you my beautiful Mommie and I miss you something awful and I will forever cherish, love and miss you. I love you but God loved you best. Sleep on Mommie and enjoy your much deserved reward in the Master's Joy. I was blessed to have the World's Greatest Mother and thank God for you and your life well lived. Thank you God for giving her to us for 78 years. I love you always Mommie.
