May you find comfort in the treasured memories and thoughts of the joys and love that you shared with your beloved during the years that you have spent together. There is a special place in the heart that memory will forever live. Cherish those memories and know that your friends and neighbors care about you and will continue to remember you in prayers.

When I first met Verna, I was a bit anxious. But she greeted me with open arms, called me "sweetheart" and made me feel welcome in her big, friendly, family. She taught me how to make her famous shrimp pie, "some of this, a little of that" while I followed her around her kitchen, with pencil and paper, writing it all down! I will always treasure the sound of her infectious laughter, her gentle sense of humor. I am comforted by the thought that she is now well and healthy, and has been reunited with the
love of her life. Hers was truly a life well lived. Kathy Carr
