Verna Glenn Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard, and her eldest grandson, Rex Glenn. She is survived, loved and missed dearly by her daughter, Linda Thrall of Florence, OR; five grandchildren: Kenny Thrall of Florence, OR; Trena Nash of Portland, OR; Marlo Thrall of Eugene, OR; Tina Stout of Portland, OR; and Carrie Abrahamson of Florence, OR; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Verna was a housewife in her earlier years before deciding to go to work. She worked a combined 30 years at Montgomery Wards in the Appliance Dept., and WalMart as a Greeter until she retired a few years ago. She took her work very serious and was a champion at both.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 8 at 2 p.m. at 2981 Gilham Rd in Eugene.

Verna - you were always the most caring and kind person I worked with in retail for many years. I asked about you at Walmart this summer and the greeters said it had been a few years since you worked there. We all talked about how much we missed your genuine smile. Our last conversation was about Helen and I couldn't shake the feelings of sadness and loss you felt. You are a dear woman who will be missed, but I know that Heaven rejoices in welcoming you home.
