I just wanted to fix something I typed wrong Alexis MaKayla was her grandbaby, I had so much on my mind when I wrote it that I didn't think to check it.

It still doesn't feel real, I have to watch myself from picking up the phone to see how you feel today then I realize you feel great, This was and still is extremely hard on me I have lost many friends in my short 20 years on this earth but not someone as close as you are to me. I wonder why this happens why people suffer why we all cant have long life but It's all in his plan you will never be forgotten always in my thoughts just wish we had forever in this life but we are told after this it is promised forever I can only hope that it is true. I hope you will be there to guide me home when It's my time. Dee Dee all I can tell myself is she isn't hurting, she isn't hurting everyday is suppose to get easier but this seems to get harder, I miss you so much and cant wait till we meet again. I love you so much I wish life wasn't so painful but then what would it be? sadly missed by Alexis Bubba Sissy Vickie Nanny Daddy please help to guide me into the right path.

Dearest DeeDee,

It had been a long and difficult journey. Oftentimes we get too wrapped in life's paradoxes. And the time to remember the ones we love may slip on by before the Glory of God's Mercy and Grace call you home. And now you can breathe. Breathe deep and long and exhale with no pain. May God Bless you my sister in Christ and I wll keep your Daddy and his family in my thoughts and prayers. You are truly LOVED...

To my favorite cousin, Dee Dee, I found this poem today and feel as if it puts everything into prospective:

THE DAY GOD CALLED YOU HOME

"God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.

He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.

His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.

And knew that you would never get well on earth again.

He saw your path was difficult, he closed your tired eyes,

He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.

When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,

We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.

You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,

You live on through your children, you're always by our side.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.

For part of us went with you on the day God called you home. "

Dee Dee: Thank you for all of the wonderful memories. All of the laughter, hugs and tears. Although we've grown apart throughout the many years. You will never be forgotten and will always be on our minds. Hugs and kisses to all that are with you and most of all to Thine.

My Love to you Forever,

Helen Boineau

I thank God for giving me such a wonderful family. Dee Dee you were a great cousin. Although we had drifted apart some in our later years, I cherish the memories of our teenage years. The sleep overs, family reunions, and birthday parties will always be fond memories for me to hold dear. I always looked forward to your sausage red rice and feta cheese salad you brought to the family reunions. We will miss you but I know you are in a far better place. May God now help comfort the family you left behind as he opened his arms and welcomed you home to peace at last.
