Valerie Rourk Warren CHARLESTON - Valerie Rourk Warren, 89, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Earl Holland Warren entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 21, 2014. Her funeral service will be held at J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, Saturday, December 27, 2014 in at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday, December 26, 2014 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Valerie was born August 31, 1925 in Charleston, SC. She was the daughter of Emily Rourk. She was a military wife and homemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia W. Riser (George) and one granddaughter, Holly Jo Riser, all of Concord, NC. Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, SC 29406. I'm sorry to hear of Valerie's passing. I have fond memories of the bowing days and the many visits with Valerie and Earl. Valerie, so kind and loving and fun to be with. I am sorry I could not attend the service. I am down with the bug. My Prayers are with all of you at this time.
