Dear Peg,
We were shocked and saddened to learn of Truman's passing. We have pleasant memories of our last visit with you all on a very rainy day in June '02 when we had to lift Laura in a chair up to your porch. Be strong and time will heal.

Dear Peg
I am so grieved to learn via a call from Cathy Nancy that Truman passed away. He was my oldest and best friend. I will always miss his loyalty, sensitivity and good sense of humor. I know he went through so much, as did you-all. He indeed fought the good fight. Truman will be vivid in my mind all the remaining days of my life. May he rest in peace. Sending you and Rebecca and all the family my deepest sympathy. Please stay strong. I am very sorry not to be able to attend Truman's memorial. Love, Sig
