I first met Troy several years ago when we both worked at Milcom. We liked each other immediately, and be came friends. Sadly, I just found out today of his passing; I was, and still am devastated. For a man who was SO full of life and love for everyone, it is unbelievable that his has been taken away from us all. I used to tell him to get into stand up, because he was so funny! He could make you laugh even if you didn't have any more laugh left inside you. That's a rare quality most people do not have.

I'm sure I will miss him for the rest of my life, but the fact that I was able to meet and be friends with him is an invaluable gift I will treasure always! Love you Troy, and God rest!

I was so very sorry to hear about Troy. He performed last year at the Coastal Carolina Fair and was a big hit. I am sure he will be missed. From Joan Johnson Parkway Stage.

I am sad to hear the news about Troy. I spoke to him in December about playing again for us during St. Pats. I am devastated to hear the news. He and his band played for the Savannah Waterfront last year for St. Patrick's day. I spoke to him several times and always enjoyed our conversations. He always made me laugh. Very energetic and a great soul. I was fortunate to hear him play. My heart goes out to his family. Warm regards, Victoria Smith

I only met Troy once, in person, but he treated me like family right off. His smile would light up the sky, and he was ALWAYS smiling. Soon after I met him, my son, Matt, crossed paths with Troy, and they became good friends. My son in and out of town, when he worked in this area, Troy welcomed him into his home without blinking an eye. Matt spoke highly of Troy and still does, every time he sees me. I am so sorry for the loss of such a fine young man. I will always remember him smiling. My condolences go out to all of his family.

Though he was taken way too soon, Troy was an Angel here on earth, and I know, without a doubt, that Troy is in heaven now, still watching out for my boy.

God bless him, and may he bring peace and healing to his family and to all of those who who were lucky enough to call him friend.
