Trenholm Campbell Obituary

Trenholm "T.K." Campbell ROUNDO - Mr. Trenholm Kermiller Campbell, Jr., known by many as "T.K.", age 64, of Round O, entered into his eternal rest Friday morning, February 4, 2011, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. Funeral services will be conducted 3:30 Sunday afternoon, February 6, 2011, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro. Mr. Campbell was born November 28, 1946, in Walterboro, and was a son of the late Trenholm Kermiller Campbell, Sr. and the late Edna Smallwood Campbell. He served his country faithfully in the South Carolina National Guard and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Ritter. He began his career with South Carolina Electric and Gas at the age of 19 and retired after thirty-four years from their Canadys Plant as a Journeyman Electrician. He will be remembered for his love of wood crafting and fishing. Surviving are: his wife of fourty-four years, Mrs. Teresa "Terry" Beach Campbell; three daughters, Penny Campbell Norris and her husband Chuck of Walterboro, Amy Campbell of Orlando, Florida, and Leigh Campbell of Charleston; and three sisters, Rebecca Ware of Walterboro, Anne Todd of Wadley, Georgia, and Jeannine Gahagan of Walterboro. There are two grandchildren, Jessica Garris of Charleston and Alexander Day of Walterboro; as well as his mother-in-law, Mrs. Lou Lane Beach of Walterboro and beloved cat Ginny also known as "Wompus".. Flowers will be accepted or for those that wish, the family has respectfully requested that memorial contributions be directed in his memory to: Colleton County Relay for Life, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504, North Charleston, South Carolina 29406. Rebecca, it's been years but I was a classmate of yours and just read online about the death of your brother. Ebenezer Church was my folks church and I recall my mother, Sue Crosby, talking about T.K. Please give my sympathy to Lou Beach. That's certainly a young age to die.
