Trena Douthit N. Charleston - Trena Marie Douthit, of North Charleston, South Carolina, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Daughter of Emma Ruth Douthit and predeceased Father, James Egbert Douthit. Mother of James Matlock Smith. Sister of Tamara Douthit, Terry Douthit and Bill Douthit. She was diagnosed with Cancer in May, and she fought so hard to give us as much time with her as possible. She was easily one of the most selfless people that you would ever meet. She put her family and friends ahead of herself, always. She always lit up when she laid eyes on her most precious gift in the world, her granddaughter, Amelia EstaMae Smith; Daughter of James Matlock and Mary Elizabeth Smith. She loved and was loved by her family and friends as well as her River Family. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at Riverbluff Church, North Charleston, on Saturday, September 25th at 1pm, officiated by Reverend Joe Still. The slide presentation, for those who wish to attend, will begin at Noon. Due to the COVID Pandemic, we are requiring masks to be worn.
