Tracy Googe Obituary

Tracy Danielle Googe MT. PLEASANT - Tracy Danielle Googe, 35, of Mt. Pleasant, entered into eternal rest on December 19, 2024, holding hands with her loving parents. She was the daughter of Thomas and Robin Smith Googe. Tracy was born on February 14, 1989 in Mount Pleasant, SC. As a young child, she found her first love of sports in soccer, being the only girl on an all male team. It laid a foundation for her later interest in the SC Stringrays hockey team and she and her dad regularly attended their games. Tracy was an avid Clemson football fan and she could be heard all through the house cheering on her favorite players during the season. She shared an equal passion for NFL football. Professionally,Tracy earned a degree in biology and worked in her dream job as a clinical research coordinator at Coastal Carolina Research Center where she thrived applying her natural attention to detail. In addition to her parents, Tracy is survived by her greatest joy, her daughter, Hayleigh Elizabeth Morgan. She also leaves her grandparents, Kruger Belmont Smith, Sr. and June Doig Smith; an uncle, Kruger B Smith, Jr., wife, Tracy and their children, Madison (John) and Jace of Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by many other cousins and family members, including Mackinzie Griffen and Tracy Meadows of Moncks Corner. Arrangements are being planned by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation. A private gathering of close friends and family will be held on February 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, and as a final tribute in memory of Tracy for her daughter, an account for the benefit of Hayleigh Morgan has been opened. There are two methods for contribution to this custodial account. One, checks may be made payable to Edward Jones notating for Hayleigh Morgan and mailed to Edward Jones Financial Services 1517-C Palm Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC 29451. Two, a GoFundMe page for Hayleigh Morgan can be accessed from the Simplicity website. https://gofund.me/ba7e60d6

May she have eternal memory in the kingdom of her choice. Praying the angels wrap their loving wings around those who looses a child. A wise woman told me to write all the flashing memories now. With time the tiny details fade. In loving memory. Tracy shared many fun, sillly, sensitive, and good times with my son Kenny and Jake.

Hayleigh and Robin, there are no words to express how my heart hurts for the loss you are living with. So much we can´t understand but I pray you lean on the love you two share. God bless you. Keeping you and your entire family in prayer. Cathy Landis
