Traci Kimball Obituary

Traci Lynn Kimball, 36, loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, June 3, 2013. Traci was born in Santa Cruz, Calif., in March 1977. She lived in Richland, Wash., until she was nine, when she moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., for three years before her move to Pismo Beach. She attended Judkins Junior High School, graduated from Arroyo Grande High School and attended Cuesta College. She earned her Certificate in Reflexology. She worked for Dr. Higginbotham, both in the front and back office as a tech for six years. She was a wonderful mother, who fought the battles for her autistic son, Ian. She enjoyed fund raising events, such as the Walk for Autism through the Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center. She was a "hands on" mother and helped in her son's classroom. She loved the children. Anyone who knew Traci knows how much she loved her son. He was her whole universe. She loved to work and plant in her garden. She also enjoyed to make baby quilts for her friends. She volunteered at the Food Pantry at Five Cities Vineyard Church. She baked cookies for The Pantry each week. She also was collecting clothing for the Oklahoma disaster victims. Traci is survived by her husband, Dale; son, Ian; mother, Kathy Deniz; stepfather, David Deniz; brother, Jon Shong; mother-in-law, Didi Kimball; father, Brian Shong; and uncles, aunts and cousins. Traci was preceded in death by her grandfather, Melvin Stutchman. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013, at Five Cities Vineyard Church, 330 Stanton Road in Arroyo Grande. A celebration of life will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the Arroyo Grande Portuguese Hall, 707 Huasna Road in Arroyo Grande. Donations can be made in Traci's name to Central Coast Autism Spectrum Center, 75 Higuera St., Ste. 110, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401; or Five Cities Vineyard Church Mercy Ministries, 330 Stanton Road, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420. Our special girl: You where loved more then words can say, you where loved more then you would ever know. You left a giant hole in my heart and now my heart will never be the same. God forgot to tell us you where just on loan, and now God holds a special place for the most special angel of all. Our time together was short, but my heart will always remember every precious moment with the most special girl of all. Love Aunt Debi

It's been many Years, but when I last saw you, you were so happy with Dale standing in the driveway of your home. Such an amazing man and you love him so. My heart goes out to him.

Ian, such a beautiful little boy and I know how much you love him and cherish him.

You are a dear friend when I needed a confidant and no matter what, you will always be part of the trio. I love you and JD both. So sad to lose one of us. I'm sorry to have lost touch, JD and I will catch up with you later Trace.

Always,
"Bobbert"
