I can’t believe it’s been 20 years since the Lord Called you home. I was just thinking about you the other as I sat in my office , smiling and laughing at the good times we had growing up. Playing in grandmas court yard or all of us walking to store for grandma. Lol I know your up there looking down at us and protecting us. From all the craziness that’s going on today , I just wanted you to know we all miss you Ena and I love you cuz . Till we meet again

Thinking about you this 9/11 2021 from the Skinner family in the UK ... Maybe we're connected somehow. I saw your name at Ground Zero soon after the attack and have felt a family attachment ever since. RIP Toyena.

Remembering our co worker on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. We remember her and still mourn her loss. We will NEVER FORGET.

Our heartfelt sympathy we send to your family. Everyday may God continue to give the help needed to cope. Toyena is still sadly missed and will always be remembered. Finally may the time come when these violent acts are ended and family will not have to suffer this heartache.

Been a little under the weather lately. Just dealing with cancer right now, but I haven't forgotten you Ena. Miss your smile, laughter, just miss you.

Another Year has passed but you have not been forgotten. I think of you often and imagine what it would be like if you were here with us. We miss you deeply but we know you are watching over us. You, your mom, grandma, grandpa and auntie, Miss you much. Never forgotten.

I recently started picking random names off the 9-11 Memorial Wall, Toyena was my first name. Somehow I feel better when I look up each one & give my condolences personally. I never want 9-11 to become distant. It must always stay fresh in our minds & hearts, like it is for the victims family & loved ones. Only then can we change America. Only then. R.I.P. Toyena C. Skinner you are not forgotten.

We will never forget.

I rode in Tonyena's memory in the America's 911 Foundation Inc. motorcycle ride this weekend. It was an honor to do so. She will never be forgotten.

As I cross-stitched your name on the memorial that I am doing for all of the victims, I prayed for you and your family. Please know that your death was not in vain. We will always remember. God Bless.

I wish I had the opportunity to know you as a young woman. I knew you only as a young toddler of 2&3 years old.You were a beauty than and remained that way. When I last spoke to your mom ,she described you as a loving and gifted young woman and proud mama. Toyenna, Four years later you, your son, and your fiance are still in my prayers. Friday, September 14, 2001, would have been your last day at WTC before starting a new life with your family, your young son. I will always remember, at First Union/Wachovia and in my daily living. Always remember.

I did not know you, but we share a last name. My heart still breaks from the tragedy of that day but you are in a better place now. May God continue to be with all the families who lost loved ones on that horrible day.

Hi Toya,I miss your smile. I miss those days when you brought the baby in after a long day and the room would just light up. I know you are watching your loved ones from Heaven and I know me, you and Brian will see you again and laugh like we used to listening to Stern. Keep smiling,we need the sunshine =)

Toya, words cannot express the way that I feel now that you're gone. But I will remember the promise that we kept to each other, to have lunch for that whole week, until you were suppose to quit. Sometimes, I see people who look just like you, and I say to myself..."is that...", but then I look closer and then I realize its not..

A hard working American, putting in her time, day after day. The Lord has taken Toyena for some reason & we will not know until he calls us to meet her. A happy face and a time of joy during this photo. If we only new what the future holds for all of us. My deepest and most heart felt sympathy to Toyena's family. The pain will never go away and this loss will never be regained for you and the other mom's, dad's,husband's wife's and the children of all who have become a victim to this hate of the American Way. Another reason to cherish our freedoms, rights, liberty and ability to vote in a free society. We are free, Toyena was free and striving to reach the American goals in life. Toyena and her family have been cheated out of her love. I am another person passing in the night, we share the same last name and we were kidded about it our whole life. A person and name to be proud of. We have been swindled out of time on earth with Toyena, but now she is beside the Lord and helping him.
