Tonya Infinger-Boyleston Obituary

Tonya Lee Infinger-Boyleston ORANGEBURG, SC - Tonya Lee Infinger-Boyleston, 58, entered into eternal rest on April 9, 2013 at her residence. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 19, 2013 at Indian Field United Methodist Church with the Reverend Preston Grimsley officiating. Tonya was born on December 8, 1954, a daughter of Gladys Campbell Infinger and the late Marion Infinger. She was a graduate of Dorchester Academy's first class in 1972 where she served as Class President. She was a twenty eight year veteran of the public education system. She was a 1976 graduate of Columbia College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In May of 1978, she received a Master's Degree from South Carolina State University in Counselor Education. Post graduate studies earned her certification in the area of emotionally disturbed behavior and her credentials as a School Psychologist from The Citadel. Tonya held certification as a Certified School Psychologist, Level II through the South Carolina Department of Education and as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist through the National School Psychology Certification Board. She was licensed through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Board of Examiners as a Psycho-educational Specialist. Tonya was diversified in special education issues dealing with all aspects of special needs. She had served as an adjunct instructor for Limestone College and the College of Charleston's Graduate School. Tonya established Consult & Evaluation LLC as a continued effort to provide for the greater good of the community and surrounding areas. Surviving is her husband, Kevin Boyleston; her beloved dog, Winchester, both of the home; her mother, Gladys C. Infinger, Rosinville; three step-children, Rebecca (Josh) Grubbs, Taylor Boyleston and Tyler Boyleston and a new grandchild, Deklin; and numerous other family members and friends. For those of you that knew Tonya, the quote in her own words in her senior year annual was, "When I die, who will entertain the people."
