To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

If you could see or read this...my heart broke upon hearing the news of your passing. I just talked with you on Wednesday. You were so happy and I was happy with you. I will miss you so much. You hired me at Miller Motte..it was not me or your decision to do so, but it was God's will. God sets the exact time and places where we should live and be. I miss you, my friend. To your family, I send my deepest condolences and heart-felt prayers.May our Lord and Savior comfort you.

You will be missed dearly. I pray that your family finds peace today in knowing you are in paradise with the king.

Sending love and prayers to the Euland and Carson families. While I am shocked and saddened by this loss, I will always remember her smile, her calmness, and her commitment to excellence. In the year that I worked with her at Miller Motte College, I learned so much from her and admired her tremendously as a supervisor, but more importantly, as a person of integrity and true character. I'm honored to have known her. There are no words to express this loss but there is Christ, yesterday, today and always.

Friends and loved ones, I will remember Tonya as a gentle, kind, thoughtful, caring woman who was living a life of service to those around her. She always had a warm, welcoming smile, a sweet demeanor, a kind word, and was encouraging to her students and colleagues alike. I pray for God's peace and comfort today for her husband, mother, and family of whom she spoke so highly and lovingly. May God Bless you.

To the Euland and Carson family. It is truly a loss to all of us who knew Dean Euland-carson. In had the pleasure of meeting Tonya when she came to Charlotte, to be the dean of ITT Technical Institute. I was the IT Chair. Little did we know that we had more in common than we thought. Turns out our birthdays were on the same day. Valentine's day. She didn't believe ms when I told her, so she asked me for my ID. From that moment we always said we were sisters. Tonya was one of the best deans I ever worked for. She was knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated to helping others.

She will be missed. My little sister has moved on to educate others. As I turn 51 and you turn 41, I will remember the days we shared at ITT.

I am truly at a loss for words. I didn't know her well, but one thing I do know about her (from my experience) was that she was great at calming people down. She had definitely served her purpose here and has touched many lives. I will keep this family in my thoughts. She will be sincerely missed.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Carson was an outstanding person. She was quite a motivation to me in my journey at Miller Motte. She always had an encouraging word and was without a doubt one of the reasons I never quit when I wanted to the most. I thank God for the light she was in my life, even if it was for only a brief moment in time. I try not to question the Lord but it just seems like this was too soon. I can remember the first time that Tonya and I met. It was at ITT Technical Institute; Greenville, South Carolina. I was greeted with such warmth, acceptance and caring. I came to find that was her very nature. She had an open caring heart, and ear for everyone. placing herself last to always care for the needs of others. God Bless you Tonya.
