Timothy Gerald

Timothy G. McAvoy, 60, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away in his home on Saturday, December 26, 2015. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Gerald and Marjorie (Pfaff) McAvoy on June 10, 1955. Tim married the love of his life, Jeanette (Wisniewski) on December 24, 1976. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and later went on to work for J & B Leasing as a truck driver. Timothy was an easy going, loving and sincere man that enjoyed joking with friends and family. He also was a movie buff, animal lover, enjoyed nature and very interested in the spiritual world.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanette; sons, Richard (Jennifer) McAvoy, Christopher (Carolyn) McAvoy; siblings, Gloria Tschappat, Jim (Sue) McAvoy, John (Jodie) McAvoy; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and niece, Kim.

Friends may call at Epiphany of the Lord Parish - Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 509 Oswald St., Toledo, OH 43605 on Thursday, December 31, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Willow Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Toledo Humane Society or Epiphany of the Lord Parish - Sacred Heart Catholic Church. "We Love You Timothy ... I Love you More!"
