Timothy Grant Obituary

It has been quite a while since you moved on Tim, but you know - your smiling face comes back to me from time to time, and I feel sorrow for those that had the good fortune to have you in their lives. You are remembered, and you are missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Timothy will be sadly missed, I just learned that he had passed away, I am so sorry for your loss.
Timothy went to school with me and my husband, he was such a happy, great person, we will really miss seeing his smile. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Because Timothy was saved he has the victory! May you continue to find comfort in God's Word.

Pammy and the Grant family, Timmy will be missed by everyone that he has ever encountered in his life time. He was such a honest loving person to know. From coaching the kids on the field and, in everyday life . we all will have an empty place in our hearts when ever we think about Timmy. Ashley and T.J. your father was their for you no matter what sport you played or what ever you had going on. Keep his spirit alive and dwell on all the positive things in life that he has instilled in you. Timmy was a well liked person and he catered to all that knew him, if you needed a T-Shirt , Timmy was their for you and will give you extra's and say don't worry about it.Timmy I know that you are in a better place and smiling from ear to ear looking down on us. God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Tim was such a pleasant person to talk with and he will certainly be missed. May God comfort the family during these times.

Pam, in times like this we need an anchor that grips the solid rock, and that rock is Jesus. As I think back on the times knotty and I talked, there was always words of encouragement. God only took Tim because he was ready. God Blessed our Family with him in our lives.

I had the opportunity to meet Timothy through my dear friend my sister, Zan. This family are very loving towards one another. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Tim for many years. I can't bear the thought of his passing. God has a plan for everything, there is always a reason behind his doings, whether we understand it or not. I'm so very sorry, I have him in my prayers right along with the rest of my family. He was a great person, a great coach, and an all around great father. My family greives for you. We love ya'll dearly. Keep your head up, and be strong. You know that is what he wants.

I will miss Timothy I met him through a very good friend of mine whom I think of as my sister, Zan. You know when I first saw Tim's name in the obituary, I prayed hard that it was not our Tim (MUSC Library). I called my sister to confirm, however never got confirmation but read another guest book entry and realize that it was our Tim. I got to know Time during his time at Xerox working on our copy machines. He always had a smile and positive word for you. He talked about family with love and pride. He was a great person and I am so happy and honored that I got a chance to meet and converse with him. I know he will definitely be missed. I pray for the Grant family for all the blessings, strength and comfort to you during this difficult time. I will keep you all in my prayers not only now but in the future. Tim's death only proves that God only takes the best. May peace be with all of you. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

We will never forget the great times we had with Timothy video taping both of our son's football games at James Island Charter. Timothy was such a great person to know and he truly loved his family. Rest in peace Timothy and God Bless your family during this difficult time.
