Thomas Tellefsen Obituary

Thomas Charles Tellefsen Goose Creek - Thomas Charles Tellefsen, 68, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, husband of Brenda Tellefsen, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 23, 2021. A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, February 4 in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC at 11 a.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel. Tom was born January 5, 1953 in the Philippines, to the late George and Agnes Tellefsen. Tom claimed Michigan as his home state. After graduating high school he joined the United States Navy. He served his country honorably for 22 years with duty stations in Vietnam, London UK, Maryland, Wales UK, Oregon, Connecticut and South Carolina where he retired. Civilian jobs took him to King's Bay, Charleston and Beaufort. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; two sons, Gordon Tellefsen, and Kenneth Tellefsen; daughter, Laura Breitenfeldt and her husband Clayton; granddaughter, Clara; and six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Lumpkin; twin brother, David Tellefsen; and brother, George Tellefsen. Visit our guestbook at legacy.com/obituaries/charleston

So sorry to read today about Tom's passing. I have many fond memories of our time together on USS HOLLAND and at the Aquarium. My sincerest condolences.
