Thomas Scott Jr. GOOSE CREEK - Thomas Jefferson Scott, Jr., age 72, entered into enteral rest on September 17, 2013. Born February 7, 1941 in Wadesboro, NC to the late Thomas Jefferson Scott, Sr., and Bernice H. Scott. Thomas loved fishing, his family, and friends. Thomas retired from the State of South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles, a former South Carolina Highway Patrol, and a veteran the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Sylvia B. Scott; step-son, Darrell M. Leone of North Charleston "He was the Dad he didn't have to be"; sisters, Frances E. (The Late Ralph Brown) Brown of North Charleston, Sue (Lloyd) Jordan of Conway; one grandson, Joey Leone of Columbia, many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Zita Christopher of NFLE, Canada; brother-in-law, Walter Buckle of Sarnia, Ontario. Thomas is predeceased in addition to his parents, one brother, David Scott. The family will receive friends 12 Noon- 1:00 PM Friday, September 20, 2013 at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in CAROLINA MEMORIAL PARK.
