Tom was the best of the best. Always a smile & comfort to those he knew & loved. My thoughts and prayers to Beth, Todd, Hunter and Holly. Miss you, my friend.

A kind friendly and welcoming neighbor. Always a helpful friend. Sadly will be missed.

We have been next door neighbors to Tom and Beth for the last few years. While we didn’t know Tom as well as we would have liked too - we knew him well enough to know he was a good man, a good citizen and a loving husband, parent and, grandparent.
We will miss his friendliness and easy going ways. We will do our best to be good and caring neighbors to Beth.
We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to the Murph family.

So sorry for your loss. Condolences to the family. I served alongside Tom on the Isle of Palms Fire Dept. 1981-1984 Great Guy and mentor. You will be missed My Friend!!

We always had a good time when he was on council and I was the Chief of Police. We accomplished a lot for the residents on the Isle of Palms.. Wee kept in touch often on Facebook. I will miss him.
