We were so sorry to hear about the passing of our devoted choir member. He was such a joy and an uplifting soldier. He was genuine and true. He won the victory last Friday. We are sorry to hear of Brother McElveen's passing. We met him at Pleasanthill Baptist Church in Lawrenceville. He was always friendly and we connected since I grew up in Charleston. He had a wonderful personality and will be missed.

To the family of Mr. McElveen: I will remember Bic MAC singing on Sunday . He led his song and did it well. I knew him for a short time however every time I saw and talked to him and his family it was a joy. He was a wonderful person to know and he will be missed at Peeks Chapel Baptist Church

To me and I'm sure many others, Thomas was always joyful with a great sense of humor and when I saw him through the years, he was as he was in our school days, always a treasure to talk to.
