Thomas Mallard Obituary

Thomas "Tommy" Mallard CHARLESTON - Thomas 'Tommy' Mallard born 9/9/1942 attended Bishop England High School. He served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston in 1979. He worked for years at the Nabisco Co. as a Regional Accounts Mgr.and later formed his own company, Canvas Back Awnings. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; Woodrow and Audrey Mallard; daughter, Nancy; sister, Cristy and brother, Paul. He is survived by daughters, Melissa, Kim; son, Jerry; grandchildren, Erica, Kate, David, Tim, Joshua, Emily, Tosh, Seren, Amberly and great-grandchild Logan; sister, Linda and brother Ralph. Tommy was loved by all who knew him. A memorial service in his honor and remembrance will be held at the American Legion Post 147 on Folly Road Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 2:00PM. Ralph, I was so sorry to hear about Tommy. I have fond memories of playing tennis with Tommy after he recuperated from his broken neck - he was amazing! Sending love to your family.
