CPL Thomas Jerald Lund SUMMERVILLE - TJ Lund, 24, husband of Brianna Lund entered into eternal rest on Sunday April 27, 2014 in Wahiawa, HI. A viewing will be held at James A. Dyal Funeral Home 303 South Main Street, Summerville, SC 29483 on Monday May 12, 2014, from 6 to 8 o'clock. Funeral Services will be held at All Saints Chapel, Joint Base Naval Weapons Station, 707 Chapel Drive, Goose Creek, SC 29445, Tuesday May 13, 2014 at 1:30 o'clock with a private family burial to follow. Pallbearers to be his brother Matthew, Danny Snyder, Garrick Houser, Andrew Barnard, Connor Overstreet and Dooley Greenwood. A Celebration of Life for TJ is planned for later that day from 5 to 8 o'clock at Crowfield Country Club. TJ was born on March 16, 1990 in Bremerton, WA to James and Diane Lund. His Father James was stationed there for the US Navy as a Trident Submariner on the USS Georgia Gold. In 2000 his father transferred to Goose Creek, SC where TJ attended Marrington Elementary, Marrington Middle School and onto Goose Creek High School. TJ had many passions that included baseball, which he played with his brother from ages of 5-10 in the South Kitsap Western Little League of Port Orchard, WA and for the Crowfield Little League from ages 11-13. Golf became a big passion during his high school years. He played for the Goose Creek High team and during his freshman year he lettered and continued to play his Sophomore Year. Another passion was bowling. He bowled for the Youth league at Marrington Lanes until 2008. During this time he also met the love of his life his wife Brianna. In March 2010 TJ bowled his first 300. TJ graduated from Goose Creek High School in 2008 and went on to work at both the Crowfield Golf Course and Air Force Base Course, until he enlisted in the United States Army. In March 2012. TJ attended BCT at Fort Jackson, SC graduating in May 2012. He went on to attend AIT at Fort Lee, VA and graduated September 2012. He received his first duty station and moved to Scoffield Barracks in Wahiawa, HI in October 2012. TJ married the love of his life Brianna on September 7, 2013. She joined him in Hawaii in November 2013. He is survived by his wife Brianna, parents James and Diane Lund, sister Stefanie Lund and nephew James Webb, brother Matthew Lund (wife Alyssa ) with Niece Kyleigh and nephew Patrick , grandparents Maurice and Phyllis Lund of Oak Harbor, WA. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Robert and Kristy Denny of Oxnard, CA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Francis Willis or Doc Williams SPCA or Wounded Warriors Project, PO BOX 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
