Thomas Herbert Kingston ELIZABETH CITY, NC - Thomas Herbert Kingston of Elizabeth City, NC passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. Born in Charleston, SC, he was the son of Barbara Risley Kingston of Hendersonville, NC and the late Paul James Kingston. Mr. Kingston had been an active Girl Scout Leader and Trainer in Charleston for many years. He worked as an Internal Controls and Audit Readiness Coordinator at the Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center, Elizabeth City, NC. During his time there he received multiple awards and obtained the designation of CDFM, Certified Defense Financial Manager. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Amanda Christine Kingston and Emily Louise Kingston and their mother, Christine Clariday Kingston, all of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a sister, Martha Hoffmann of Asheville, NC; and three brothers, Andrew Paul Kingston, Christopher James Kingston and Jonathan Phillip Kingston, all of Charleston, SC. Memorial services will be held in Elizabeth City at the US Coast Guard Base on January 8, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. and in Charleston on January 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Circular Congregational Church.
