Thomas Dale Kerns MT. PLEASANT - Thomas Dale Kerns, 67, husband of Martha Rice Kerns, of Mt. Pleasant, SC passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2009. The relatives and friends of Thomas Kerns are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Seacoast Community Church at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. The family will receive friends at their residence immediately following the service. Mr. Kerns was born January 13, 1942 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of the late Robert E. Kerns and Lillian Marie Hall Kerns. He attended Marshall University, retired after 30 years of service from ECOLAB and was owner of Kerns Custom Homes. Tom obtained his private pilot's license, was a member of the ELKS Lodge, and a member of Seacoast Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Marti Kerns of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Lisa K. Boroughs and her husband, Marty, of Summerville, SC; son, Jeffrey M. Kerns and his wife, Lisa, of Wando, SC; four grandchildren, Jessica Delagarza, Olivia Boroughs, Banks Kerns and Rhys Kerns; two brothers, Charles J. Kerns of Florida and David E. Kerns of Virginia.
