I was sorry to hear about Tommy. I met him in the late 1960's and he was a good friend of Ray Waites. He worked for Ray's father and uncle who were in the automobile business.

Dear Family, I was so sorry to learn about Tommy's passing. I will always remember him in a special way. When we would come to Charleston (usually every summer) we loved being around him. He was so funny and upbeat. I remember sitting around Aunt Rosie kitchen table and eating her and Al's wonderful cooking. There was always plenty of food and great laughter and fellowship. I must say that I miss those times. We will be praying for you at this most difficult time. Love and prayers, Jeanette Williams Cheek. - my mother was June or as she was known by the family "Aunt Han". If any of you are ever in Anderson my home is always open. Brenda,
As a child, a visit from Uncle Bubba was a highlight. He always made Renee, John, Alecia and I feel happy with his jokes and teasing. When I took the job at the Charleston Naval Shipyard, Tommy was there to give me support and advice. You and Tommy lent me support when I lost Annie. I will miss Tommy very much but I know that you will be fine because of your strength.
Love,
Michael Kline
