Thomas Anthony Hensch MT. PLEASANT - Thomas Anthony Hensch, 84, husband of the late Patricia Rooney Hensch, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011. The relatives and friends of Thomas Hensch are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Friday, January 21, 2011, in Stella Maris Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. He was born February 13, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Peter Hensch and Florence Sheridan-McNeil Hensch. He was a decorated WWII veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre with the US Coast Guard. He is survived by this three sons, Timothy Hensch (Sue) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, James Hensch (Susan) of Holbrook, NY and Thomas Hensch of Mt. Pleasant, SC; four daughters, Anne Hensch of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Lorraine Powell (Chuck) of Marietta, GA, Jacqueline Murphy (Tom) of Rockville Centre, NY and Catherine Hensch of Mt. Pleasant, SC; 12 grandchildren, Alexandra, Jennifer, Christina, Melissa, Chase, Courtney, Andrew, Ashley, Thomas, Daniel, Caroline and Kate; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five siblings, Augusta, Mary, Julia, Peter and Henry. He is also survived by his special pet, Mugsy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cpl. Christopher G.
