I was saddened to hear of Don's passing, he was a good man. My prayers are with your family and I hope happy memories soften your loss.

To all you family members: Know that your Father was a great Christian example to live by...his testimony and love for his God and the way he served others selflessly is something we should all follow as Christians. He will be missed. Know that God is only a prayer away and He's the only One that can truly bring you the peace you long for. May you be comforted by His Word.

Happy Birthday Grandpa !!! We Love and miss you but know that you are with Grandma and Aunt Patty and your brother and other family now ! We are Blessed to have had you with us in our lives for so many wonderful years !!! You will never be forgotten and will always be Loved by so many people !!!

Some of the best memories i have has been with grandpa Don and.grandma Lois. Grandpa Don taught me how to do Indian burns (which of course i had to share with my kids). I remember laughing so hard and so much my ribs would hurt! So many wonderful loving memories. Love you with all my heart G'pa Don and miss you greatly!! I know your with g'ma laughing it up!! Dad, you would be so very proud of Yvonne. She is hurting but she has been taking time to also laugh. We have been looking at old pictures and seeing how much fun you had in life lifts our hearts. To the Hendricks family..Diane and I were friends in High School and I spent many of nights at her house. I am so sorry for your loss. Don Hendricks was a wonderful, Godly man. He is now resting at the feet of Jesus, and so thankful to be made new. I know that doesn't stop the pain of his absence here on earth for those of you who will miss him dearly. My prayers are for you all to find much peace through this difficult time.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

To all my DEAR COUSINS, Your father and grandfather will be sadly missed by the entire family. He touched many lives in his 85 years on earth but it was time for him to receive his "new orders" to go to heaven to be with our heavenly family. He is an example to us all to be ready to be called home without notice. He was that kind of man! My heart feels so heavy for all of you and I will be there in spirit as you celebrate his life on Tuesday. His love for his family is forever and ever. Many prayers are coming to you from KANSAS.

We are thankful to have been reunited with ALL of you this August at our family reunion. All of you are such WONDERFUL people. You have helped us all learn more about our family background thanks to your Dad for sharing so much with you as you grew up. Don and Lois were two of the most fun-filled Christians I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Their love for each other, family, and frieds was overwhelming. Lois was there for me when I needed her many times, and Don was always there with a ready smile and laugh. They are together again in the most wonderful place - heaven!!
