I am so sorry for the lost of my dear friend Geech Thomas Edwards. I have tried several times to write on my college buddy and friend for life page but would always tear up. I am in Afghanistan working but I pray that God will give you the strength to carry on. I would also like to send my continued prays out to the Edwards Family. With Love ALways

I wish there was some kind of way or words that I could say to help you not to be sad or to make death's sting not hurt, but I cannot and that saddens me. But I do know words like funny, welcome, smile,relaxed, kind hearted, honest, extra mile, respectful, friend, nephew, loved and greatly missed. Thank you sharing him with us. Tommie is absent from us in the physical but his persona and essence are very much alive and felt through Ling-Lang. It was my pleasure to refer to Thomas as "my favorite nephew" and he always said to me only you can call me "Tommie" and get away with it. To Mrs. Edwards, Shirley, Vivian, Barbara, Rufus and the entire Dilligard, Simmons and Dawson Families, may I remind you that Thomas gone into the paradox called death to enter the realm of eternal Life in Oneness with the Giver of Infinite Life eternal, un-changing, and changeless. Just as God could never cease to be, neither could Thomas, as the Allegories of Genesis 1:26 teaches us. We have all been made in the image-likeness of God. God is Spirit, and so are we. Everything that God Is, we are in potential. In every person's lifetime, he, like the Prodigal Son when he realized that he would "arise and go to the Father," leaves all temporal things behind and journies to somewhere beyond the sun where shadows are no more; for when we face the SON, there can only be Light -eternal Light in Oneness with the Father.

II Cor. 4:18 teaches: "For we look not at things which can be seen; things which can be seen are temporary. Things which cannot be seen are eternal." The vehicle for Thomas' soul, which we call the body, grew tired of inefficiency in its expression of the breath of Life, made a choice to go into another realm where he lives unencumbered. My faith is unwavering in the knowing that there is only Life after this Life. Bless his soul as it unfolds in new experiences in the eternal realm - he Lives!
