Thomas Coppedge Obituary

Thomas Coppedge HOLLYWOOD, SC - Thomas McDowell Coppedge (Tim), 94, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 18, 2013. Thomas was born on October 30, 1918 in Orlando, Florida, a son of Thomas M. Coppedge, Sr. and Winifred Boring Coppedge. He is survived by two daughters and a son. Thomas was predeceased by his wife, Vera Plowden, whom he married on August 18, 1938. Thomas served in WWII in the Navy in San Diego, CA. After the war, he supported his family working in the automotive field and commercial fabric sales throughout the southeast. Thomas has lived for the past 15 months with his daughter Dianne Harris and her husband Dan. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Orlando, FL at Greenwood Cemetery. We were saddened to hear of the passing of our very special friend but rejoice in knowing he has joined his sweet Vera and together they are praising the Lord together for all eternity. We will miss his incredible voice, infectious smile,and sweet disposition. He touched our lives in such a special way and we will miss him greatly. We offer our deepest sympathy to his precious family and prayers for comfort.
