Thomas Mark " Tom " Christensen, Sr. Eutawville, SC - Thomas Mark " Tom " Christensen, 62, of Eutawville, SC, and a former longtime resident of North Charleston, husband to Lynn M. Christensen of 24 years, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 1, 2021, surrounded by his family. Born on June 15, 1958, in Charleston, SC, Tom was a son of the late Elbert D. Christensen and Geneva M. (Murray) Christensen. Tom graduated from the North Charleston High School and then went on to earn his degree in Accounting at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. He later went on to found Extreme Construction Services, LLC where he lived his passion for negotiation and all the aspects of overseeing the business. Tom was the personality behind his company and much of what he did in life. Tom enjoyed spending time at the lake, watching football as he was a Gamecocks Fan, going boating on Lake Marion, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Tom made so many friends throughout his life and will be missed for leaving life a better place. Tom is preceded in death by his parents and his sister-in-law, Debbie Christensen. Those who will most cherish his memory are his wife, Lynn M. Christensen of Eutawville; his son, Mark Christensen (Elizabeth Lopez " Beth " Christensen) of Goose Creek, SC; his daughter, Emily C. Clark (Matthew Thomas Clark) of Summerville, SC; his brothers, Dale Elbert Christensen, Jr. of Summerville and David Francis Christensen (Terri Christensen) of Bonneau, SC; the mother of his children, Lisa Ann Cate of Summerville and last but definitely not least, PaPa's little providers of love, Aidan Johnson, Declan Johnson, Brogan Johnson, Fiona Johnson, Annslee Clark, Aubrey Clark and Luke Thomas Clark. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 2 PM Saturday, May 8, 2021, at Fellowship of Praise Church, 8280 Old Number 6 Highway, in Santee, SC 29142. Services to remember and honor Tom's life will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the church with Reverend Ronnie Spires, officiating. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow services at The Pines Cemetery in Santee.
