Thomas Brinson Obituary

Thomas W. Brinson N. Charleston - Thomas W. Brinson, 86, of North Charleston, SC, husband of Mary Brinson, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 30, 2022. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 4, 2022 in the Cathedral Church, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Azalea Drive in North Charleston. The family will receive friends at the church, Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel. Thomas was born in Charleston in 1936 and grew up in Johns Island. He attended St. John's High School and received his bachelors degree from the Citadel. He worked at the Charleston Naval Shipyard for 35 years before retiring in 1994. Thomas was an avid sports fan and loved watching Citadel and South Carolina football. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary, his son Ben, and his wife Cindi of Seattle, Washington, Davey Anderson and his wife, Suzanne of Hanahan, Brian Anderson of North Charleston and his younger brother, Roy Brinson and his wife, Cece of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida.
