Theresa W. Askew Charleston - Theresa Williams Askew, 78, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late Randolph Oliver Askew, public walk-through viewing will be held this evening at the Mortuary from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Service and Committal Services will be private. She is survived by her loving children: Sharon Askew-Slocomb, Royce M. Askew, and LeAnder Askew; grandchildren: Kamilah L. Brown, Terika S. Slocomb, and Alana P. Askew; great-grandson, Manuel Brown, Jr.; siblings, Susan Miller and Elizabeth Coker and a host of other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter and Marie Williams; siblings: Buddy Williams, Jacob Leon Williams, Louis M. To Sharon and Royce, I remember when you'll lived on Montague Ave, I would come over and play with you'll and the other kids, then we ended up attending Bonds-Wilson together. To the Askew family, I am very sad to hear of the passing of Theresa. We were neighbors in the Rosemont section of Charleston for many years. I played for Rosemont Baptist Church where she was a member. Whenever I saw her, she was still loving, kind and had that beautiful smile. May God keep the family in His care and may His words comfort you during this time and the days ahead! Much love to you all!
