Theodore W. Reeser
June 26, 1927 - Oct. 9, 2010
Theodore W. Reeser, 83, of Clayton, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas. He was born June 26, 1927, in Amistad, to Theodor Freeman Reeser and Mildred Pauline (Franks) Reeser.
A veteran of World War II, he lived in the Amistad and Sedan areas of Union County until he entered the U.S. Army. Following his military service, Theodore lived in Farmington, where he worked for the Farmington School System in maintenance until he retired and returned to Union County in the early 1990s.
He was a "rock hound" and enjoyed metal detecting and collecting art work.
Theodore was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Frank Reeser; and a sister, Irene Relethford.
He is survived by his brothers, Russell Reeser (Shirley) of Fremont, Neb., and Lawrence Reeser of Clearwater, Kan.; a sister, Dorothy McKee of Farmington; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today, Oct. 13, in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Billy Rammage, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Clayton, officiating.
