Theodore Ramler Obituary

RAMLER - Theodore Henry It is with great sadness that the family of Theodore Henry Ramler announces his passing. Ted passed away March 18, 2014 at the young age of 62 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He spent the last twenty years on Vancouver Island after moving here from Saskatchewan where he grew up. Though his roots are in the prairies, his heart came to rest in the beauty of the west coast. Ted's incredible skills contributed to the countless custom homes he built in Western Canada. His passion for building and craftsmanship left smiles on the faces of people who started out as clients but soon became his friends. He also loved antique tractors, and was a proud member of the Mid-Isle Vintage Tractor & Equipment Club. He is survived by his daughter Dana, son Nathan, former wife Jan, mother Mary, brothers Jack, Ross and Roy, and sisters Susanne and Mary Anne. Ted will be lovingly remembered and missed by his entire extended (and large) family as well as his many friends. His family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the incredible staff at the Palliative Care Unit at NRGH for their compassionate care during Ted's time there.
