Theodore "Ted" Carl Bush SUMMERVILLE - Theodore "Ted" Carl Bush, 78, of Summerville, husband of Sandra Sue (Stapleton) Bush, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2016 at his residence. Friends and family may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Tuesday, May, 24, 2016 from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock PM. A funeral service will be held at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 10 o'clock AM. Burial will be held at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort, at 2 o'clock PM. Ted was born on September 28, 1937 in Home Creek, VA, son of the late Cecil Bush and Dorothy (Wakeland) Bush. He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served for 23 years. He worked for 22 years for Westvaco. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with his family. Surviving, in addition to his wife Sue, are: two children, Tim Bush (Ginger) of Ennis, TX and Renee McCormick (Bill) of Summerville; nine grandchildren, Kristin Starns (AJ), Rachel Bush, Brian Stafford (Rachel), Jennifer Floyd (Jamie), Kaylin Stafford, Mollie McCormick, Hannah McCormick, Natalie Davis and Hilary Duncan; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Glenda Powell (Ed) of Mineral Bluff, GA.
