Tess Suzanne Hoffman Morris CHARLESTON - Tess Suzanne Hoffmann Morris died suddenly June 26, 2021. Tess was the treasured oldest daughter of Floy Work of Johns Island and Bruce F. Hoffmann (deceased) of James Island, SC.. She was the beloved mother of Taylor R. Morris, MSRN (Savannah) and Meghan A. Morris: grandmother of Hunter J. Miller; adored sister of Ronald and Brooke Hoffmann Maguire, James T. Hoffmann and John Bentz,III (Tricia); and aunt of Bailey S. Maguire, Hutch and Andy Bentz. She also leaves behind her aunts and uncles, Wendy and David French of Brewster, MA, Ann K. Hoffmann of Raleigh, NC and Theodore Hoffmann of Durham, NC; her cousins and their spouses and children, on Cape Cod and Durham, NC as well as friends of Bill who gave her great love and support on her journey. Tess will be greatly missed. Tess was a graduate of James Island High School and attended Francis Marion University in her mid-twenties, she graduated from Trident Technical College as an R.N. Nursing was her true calling. She proudly worked at MUSC Health's Hollings Cancer Center most of her nursing career. Tess loved her family, her friends, her patients, her MUSC colleagues, the beach, turtles, and her dogs. A memorial service will be held for family only.
