Terry Wimberly Obituary

Terry Edwin Wimberly ST. GEORGE, SC - Terry Edwin Wimberly, 63, of St. George, husband of Catherine Hughes Wimberly, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Mims officiating. The visitation will be an hour before the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bradley Wimberly, Christopher Wimberly, Grande Fender, Zachary Honeycutt, James Bridge, Steve Minus and Jeffery Beaudrot. Terry was born on July 21, 1959, a son of Terry "Teddy" Wayne Wimberly and the late Sally Dantzler Wimberly. He was a 1977 graduate of St. George High School and was a retired lineman and Substation Maintenance Supervisor with Santee Cooper. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was predeceased by a sister, Sherry Annie Wimberly. Surviving is his wife, Catherine Hughes Wimberly; daughters, Chelsea (Grande) Wimberly Fender and Aynsley Camille (Zachary) Honeycutt; sons, Christopher Wayne (Janice) Wimberly and Bradley James (Victoria) Wimberly; and five grandchildren, Rose Alexandria Wimberly, Lucius Edwin Wimberly, Kinley Grace Wimberly, Kaylie Olivia Wimberly and Leila Kait Fender; and his father, Terry "Teddy" Wayne Wimberly.
