Terry Creswell Obituary

Terry Donald Creswell, Sr. BRUNSON, SC - Mr. Terry Donald Creswell Sr. of Thomas Hamilton Road near Brunson, died Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Augusta. Mr. Creswell was born in McCormick, a son of the late Bernard N. Creswell and Avis Geneva Wood Romero. He was the owner and operator of Creswell Fence Company for over 30 years, and was a Navy Veteran. He was a member and prior Elder at the Hampton Presbyterian Church. Mr. Creswell was married to his wife Paulette Wallace Creswell for 42 years. Surviving besides his wife are: Sons: Terry Creswell, Jr. and wife Donna of Brunson, and Tommy Lee Creswell of Aiken; Sister: Avis "Suzy" Johnson of Aiken; Brother: Ernest Creswell of Raleigh, NC; Half-Sisters: Tina Losuers of Augusta, GA, and Coleen Jump and husband Dean of Macon, GA; Half-Brothers: Jerry Newman of Augusta GA, Randy Creswell and Danny Creswell both of Macon, GA; Grandchildren: Veronica Lynne Creswell, Sam Creswell, Adam Creswell, Evan Creswell and future Grandson-in-Law Alex Stanley Jr. Mr. Creswell was predeceased by a Grandson: Zachary Clayton Creswell. Memorial services will be Thursday at 3:30 PM in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Chapel located at 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton.
