Terry Keith Cox Ravenel, SC - Terry Keith Cox, 60, of Ravenel, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Terry was born February 5, 1960 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Sandra Ackerman Cox of Charleston, SC and the late Keith W. Cox. He was a retired civil service employee. Terry was an avid outdoorsman, but his greatest joy was hunting. He loved to hear the sound of his deer dogs running that big buck. Terry also enjoyed hanging out with friends and family and always brightened any conversation with his smile. He is survived by his two sons: Jeremy B Cox (Jennifer) of Ravenel, SC and Trey A. Cox (Jessica) of Summerville, SC, and his daughter, Megan N. Teel (Hunter) of San Diego, CA; six grandchildren: Hunter Cox, Caleb Cox, Jacob Cox, Aaron Cox, Connor Teel, and Molly Teel; brother, Tracy D. Cox of Ravenel, SC; two sisters: Deborah Cox Sandefur of North Charleston SC and Karen Cox Geer (Kevin) of Charleston SC; nieces: Britney Sandefur, Hannah Geer, and Lauren Geer; aunts, uncles, and many cousins. Terry will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, mother, siblings, family, and friends. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting our website at www.jhenrystuhr.com. I remember Terry from high school and riding on the bus. We lived in the same neighborhood. He was good man. He will be missed by all who knew him and especially the ones who loved him. RIP my friend.

Sandra, We were very sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Losing your child, at any age, must be the toughest thing a mother could have happen. You and your family are in our thoughts during this very difficult time.

By the way, I never knew your maiden name was Ackerman. My (Willie) mother's family name is Ackerman. We'll have to discuss this further some time.

Cuz...I remember basically living at your house hanging out with all of you. I remember playing board games with the 4 of you. As we got older and I'd come down to visit, I loved that you would come down to visit, you'd join all of us at Kellys. I loved that you were interested in our families keeping in touch even though I was 700 miles away. And more recently. I loved seeing the pictures of the grandkids and what your dinner was going to be! Lol
Mostly, I loved seeing your teddy bear face with those sweet eyes. You will be missed and you were certainly loved!
