"She ran calling Wildfire"
~Michael Murphey~
April 20, 2005
Dear God, You know who we are; thank You for being the Hope in this great universe that we can Trust, if we only believe...I believe YOU HAVE TO BE THERE...because LOVE is here, in our hearts...we will not live a day without feeling the love of Terry in our lives...we want to see him again, and if we ONLY BELIEVE that You are LOVE, as the Holy Bible testifies, than we will see Terry again and we can have FAITH that He is Blessed in the presence of Your Eternal Life...I pray that he can see how we all love him, and I thank You Lord for letting him be part of my life here on Earth, for the time that now feels too short, but I believe, in Heaven, all those who love and live to serve You will be rewarded the Promise of Eternal life...Terry told me how he loved going to Sunday school...He loves you too Lord, and I also pray You've got a beautiful 12 string guitar for him to enjoy...in Jesus Name...AMEN...

I know your song is in the wind now Terry, and one day we'll all join you in Heaven and sing with you, gathered together with our friends and family that have gone, like you, before us, to be with God and His loving angels...you are here in Spirit and we will stay connected through prayer till we look upon one another again...with eternal love, Amen.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I keep finding myself thinking of different things Terry had done.
I think Terry and Uncle Bill were probably the biggest influences on me musically. Terry wrote out and taught me some of the first songs I learned to play. I still have those.
Terri and I will always think of him whenever I put on stetson. She has had me wearing it ever since she smelled it on him.
Remeber God will see us all through.
Love ya'll.

The past few days have been a very difficult time for all of Terry's family but knowing he is in a better place and singing with the angels helps us get through each day. Our hearts go out to Helen, Tony, Nannette, Robin, Judy, Christina and all of their spouses and Terry's nieces and nephews whom he loved so very much. I can't think of Terry without always remembering him singing 'My Ding-A-Ling'... that always puts a smile on my face. We will miss you,Terry, very much. We know your Dad is with you and you are watching over each other. We will always love you.

I fell in love with you the moment we met Terry, and never stopped. When we were married in May of 93, I can't begin to tell you the joy you brought to my life. I will miss you more than words can say. You were talented beyond belief and so many people loved you. I have a hole in my heart now that time will not heal. You were an amazing good hearted man and I know you are with God now. My prayers to your family. My love through eternity baby.

I believe this is the same Terry who's father ran a gas station when I was young, he was so sweet, had the prettiest long hair and helped me so many times when I was a teenager with my car........It is sad to hear he has left so young, he went to school I believe with my sister who also passed last April 16th.......so young, so sad.....

Love is more than a phyical appearance. It is a memory, a feeling, so hope and pray that the lord gives Terry the same love and support that we have given him over the wonderful years of his life and may he rest in peace. It is hard to say goodby to one of our loved ones, but that loved will never be forgotten. We will all miss Terry very much. God be with you.

When Ray called to tell me about Terry's passing it really saddened me. I still think of him as the little guy across the street that we loved as our own child. My prayers are with you and the kids during this difficult time. All my love, God's peace.

It's never easy when a loved one passes on, and it truly saddens me to have heard of Terry's passing. We never know when a loved one will leave us, and Terry left too soon. I pray that you are given the strength to get through these hard days ahead, and to try and find some comfort in all of the family and friends that are there for you now.
Like the song says, "if there's a rock and roll heaven, then you know they got a Hell of a band". We'll miss you Terry.

Terry was a great musician. I enjoyed listening to him & the Dixie Band whenever I had the chance. My love goes to the entire family. I'm sorry that I can't make the trip, but have a flight to Oregon on Monday.
