Terri Petit Obituary

PETIT, Terri Terri Lee Rowles Petit, 33, of Guttenberg, IA, a native of Summerville, SC, died Monday, December 25, 2006, in Iowa. The funeral will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 4, 2007, in the CHAPEL OF DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Interment will follow in Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Terri R. Petit Memorial Fund, C/O Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Inc., 300 West Main Street, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Mrs. Petit was born March 29, 1973 in Charleston, SC a daughter of Gary Rowles and Audrey Mizzell Niehaus. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Mrs. Petit enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles out of the TV guide, bingo, and was an avid Jeff Gordon fan. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ala Mae Driggers, grandfather, C.W. Mizzell, Sr, an uncle, James Driggers, and a brother-in-law, Jerry Mueller. Surviving are; her husband, Lester Petit, III; three sons, Brian Steger and Shaun Niehaus both of Guttenber, IA, and Joshua Niehaus of North Charleston, SC; a god son, Justin Mueller of Guttenberg, IA; her mother and stepfather, Bob Niehaus, of Summerville; her father and stepmother, Faye Rowles, of Clearfield, PA; five sisters, Sherry Mueller of Guttenberg, IA, Misti Taylor of Summerville, Melissa Jo Lindsay of Manchester, IA, April Rowles of Murray, KY, and Angela Rowles of Clearfield, PA; two brothers, Dusty Mizzell of Guttenberg, IA and Robert Niehaus, II, of Summerville; her grandparents, Ken and Helen Rowles, Sr. of PA, Betty Niehaus of Millville, IA, and Janet Logan of Dubois, PA; an uncle, Ken Rowles of PA; and an aunt, Linda Rowles of CA.
