Terrence McGuinn EDISTO ISLAND - Terrence McGuinn of Edisto Island died on December 20, 2023. Terry was born in Seguin, Texas, on March 9, 1958 to Lt. Col. Thomas Patrick McGuinn and Gloria Nell Gassoway McGuinn. The McGuinn family moved often due to Lt. Col. McGuinn's Air Force career, eventually settling at Edisto Beach and the Charleston area. Terry spent the majority of his working life in the food and beverage and shrimping industries. Terry is survived by his brother, Dennis McGuinn (Trish) of Edisto Island and Charleston; his sisters, Maribeth Rowe (Justin) of Walterboro, SC, Eileen McGuinn of St. Louis, Mo; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Michael McGuinn, Pat McGuinn, Dan McGuinn, Jerry McGuinn, Willie McGuinn; and his sisters, Cecilia McGuinn Smith and Phyllis Ann McGuinn. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Trinity Church, 1589 Highway 174, Edisto Island, followed by a reception in the church parish hall.
