Tammy Smith Obituary

Tammy Lee Smith CHARLESTON - T-Lee (Tammy Lee) Smith, 50, of James Island, Charleston, SC, died suddenly on July 17, 2010, in Charleston, SC. T- Lee was born on July 22, 1959, in Methuen, MA, a daughter of the late Barbara Harrison and Herman Harrison, Jr. of Salem, MA. She attended Salem, NH Schools and graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1977. T-Lee worked as a paramedic in North Carolina and worked at Roper Hospital. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, enjoyed Trivia night at Applebee's, volunteer dog therapy, breakfast at the Marina, planning "adventures" with family and friends, writing, studying the Bible, enjoying God's natural beauty. She will be forever remembered as a kind, caring and giving person who enriched the lives of everyone that she touched. Surviving in addition to her father, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Herman and Georgie Harrison of Salem, NH, two brothers, Lenny Harrison of Meredith, NH, and his sons Thomas Harrison and his wife Janet and their son Tyler, Cpl. Dustin Harrison, US Army and Dakota Harrison and a brother Larry Harrison and his wife Tina of Colorado Springs, CO and their children, Christopher, Michael and Mary Catherine, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in the Salem, NH area. She is also survived by her closest friends, Linda, Patrick, Tonya and her care givers, her Pastors, and her entire Christian family as well as a life-long friend, whom she called sister, Deb Uscilka of Millbury, MA. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at James Island Baptist Church, 2023 Wappoo Drive, James Island at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in T-Lee's name may be made to Equine Activities and Therapies, Charleston Area, 2669 Hamilton Road, Johns Island, SC 29455.
