Tami Harter Obituary

Tami Renee Harter SUMMERVILLE - Tami Renee Harter, 32, of Summerville, SC, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Born in Adrian, MI on July 20, 1978, she was the daughter of James D. and Marlene Chapman Harter of Cortland, Ohio. Tami graduated from Lakeview High School in 1996 and from Ohio Northern University, School of Pharmacy, in 2003. Tami was employed as a Pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy. An avid sports fan, Tami enjoyed traveling and loved her cats, Shadow and Cole. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Tami is survived by her sister, Kari Hineman (Adam) of Lyndhurst, OH; her paternal grandparents, Dale and Wilma Harter of Canton, OH; her maternal grandmother, Mildred Chapman of Wadsworth, OH; two aunts, Karen Weber (Dave) and Dawn Fleury (Greg); an uncle, David Harter (Mya) and three cousins, Kyle, Georgeanne and Eric. Tami was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Robert Chapman. The Tami Harter Memorial Fund has been established to create scholarships for outstanding students. Donations can be made to Huntington Bank, 259 South High Street, Cortland, OH 44410, or to any branch of Huntington Bank. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
