Talley Culclasure Obituary

I just learned about Talley's passing and I am so sorry! We enjoyed your time living next to us in Augusta. I know he will and is missed.

I just learned of Dr. Culclasure's passing. He was my heart doctor for several years. I am so sorry for your loss. To the family and close friends of this wonderful doctor, and person, please accept my sincerest sympathy. May God bless you all with peace and comfort through your grieving. May He strengthen you in the future and give you sweet memories of this precious man.

Dr Culclasure always had a calming effect on me before and after mitral heart surgery with Dr Edward Chen. He was highly recommended by Emory having worked there with my surgeon. He was sincerely happy for my love for traveling. He always said no need to worry about anything. Having come home from another trip I was really sad today to hear of his passing when they rescheduled my appointment. Please know my prayers are for all his family and friends as we feel this great loss. Having loved more then we grieve more. May God heal all our hearts knowing that each of us has a purpose and Talley's hands and heart were a gift from God and that Talley faithfully fulfilled his purpose. I can hear him saying to us all...do not worry.

I am so sad to hear that Dr.Culclasure has passed. He repaired a hole in my heart. What a great Dr. who touch his patients hearts in more than one way. He will be missed, rest well

A great Doctor I trusted to take care of my heart for several years now. I never knew he was sick. He was very kind, always concerned and such a nice person. I am so sorry for his sweet family he leaves behind. May God take care of you all as you go forward with your lives. You'll be in my prayers.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr.Culclasure.He was my Dr since 2005. How can I ever say goodbye to a man that I trusted and how he cared for me as my cardiologist since 2001. I know he saved my life three times over those years. We had a good relationship and always had a laugh when we met. My wife also trusted Talley. God bless you Talley and your family.

Sleep well, my friend. Rides back and forth to school were never more interesting, nor funny. I remember the convertible and the laughter. And I remember enjoying Camp Indian Land as kids. Your smile, sense of humor, and curiosity are unsurpassed.

Dr. Culclasure was such a GREAT cardiologist. He inserted a pacemaker for my 90 year old mother, everyone called her "Smitha." During the procedure she shared with him what the Operating Room was like in the early 1900s as she had graduated from Piedmont and nursed here quite a few years before her death @ 93 years old. He came out of the OR laughing and put his arm around me and told me that she was doing "FANTASTIC" and had told some good stories about how the OR used to be. He was more than kind to us and eased my mind about her undergoing the pacemaker. She did great and we loved him for his caring concern and excellent skills. He will be missed! My prayers for his wife and children and family, such a loss!

I was truly sadden to hear of Dr. Culclasure's passing. He was my doctor and he was the sweetest, kindest most patient man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He treated me as if I were the only patient he had and yet he would have a waiting room full of people waiting just like me to get in to see him. He truly was one of the best and I don't think there will ever be another like him. He will be greatly miss by so many. With our deepest sympathy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to family and friends who knew him so well.

Dr.Culclasure always had a smile and it is true spending time with his patients and listen to my story always got him a bigger smile. He will be missed. Prayers with his family.

Dr. Culclasure was a compassionate and wonderful cardiologist. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy and a void that cannot be filled. May God's love comfort you and give you the peace and strength you need to face the days ahead.

So sorry to hear about Talley passing.Jesus called him home.He is free at last.

So sorry to be just now learning about Dr. Culclasure's untimely passing. I have been a patient for years and like all others, I knew him to be a very kind, compassionate physician, who was never too busy to listen to even idle chatter. He seemed to remember from year to year, little gifts brought, especially tomatoes from South Carolina roadside stands. My deepest condolences to his family. He will be sorely missed.

We were saddened to hear that Dr. Culclasure had passed away. My husband and I were both patients of Dr. Culclasure. He was such a compassionate and caring doctor. He gave everyone time to talk and you never felt rushed. You knew that he was totally involved with your medical issues but also with you as an individual. He will be greatly missed.

There will never be another Dr C. He was a very kind hearted man and wonderful Doctor. I remember patients would always bring him little gifts and he would keep them and put them on his bookshelf. He would never turn a patient down and his patients loved him. Praying for the entire family ❤

Dr. Culclasure wasn't just a doctor to us, he was our friend. I loved that my husband could sit down and talk with him like an old friend. He was genuinely interested in everyone as people, not just as patients. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. We have been praying ever since we heard about his illness weeks ago. Im so sorry for the familys loss. He was a great cardiologist. He saved my life a few occasions cause of my heart. He was a one in a million person that would go out his way to help his patients especially when they couldnt afford to pay copay. My self included. He didnt care about the money. He indeed had a calming effect on his patients. I only met him this one time (although I have passed him numerous times in the hospital hallway for many years) but it was enough to make quite an impression on me. Wish more physician's could be as caring as this man for his patients.

8 years ago I was in Macon on business and had a massive heart attack. I am so blessed that Dr. Talley took care of me. Dr. Talley saved my life. Recently I visited Dr. Talley,I had not seen him since I was discharged and thanked him for saving my life. We had a beautiful conversation. I will never forget him.

My heart was saddened to hear of my very favorite Heart Dr. passing. His shoes will be so hard to fill, his truth, spirit, compassion, kindness and his humor will never ever be forgotten. He saved my life last February when he was doing a heart cath and found that I had carbon monoxide poisoning. He told me that in all of his yrs. of practicing medicine that he had never encountered this with any if his patients.
