I Heard an Angel Laughing

I hope, should I see Heaven,
we will meet up by and by.
Being angels, I would know you
by that twinkle in your eye.

I always loved your laughter, too,
and the way it filled the air;
and, you know, I heard it just today;
but, alas, you were not there.

I hope with faith and longing
for those things I cannot see,
but believe they do exist
where God has taken thee.

I hope that you are resting
in His loving arms today,
and that laughter I can hear
is but yours where angels play.

I watched the Angels part the clouds and take your soul away, it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! I know you are in good hands now! I love you and will see you on the other side! Rest In Peace Granny!
