Sybil Dawkins Obituary

Sybil Elizabeth Dawkins SUMMERVILLE - Sybil Elizabeth Dawkins passed away on August 5, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1958, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Sybil loved her daughters very much. She would speak lovingly of them on a daily basis; especially during thunderstorms. She would that was "God playing his music." Sybil would tell people "God loves you" in the check-out line at Walmart or everywhere we went. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Sybil was with George F. Richard for 29 years, who she loved more than anything. She will be missed. Sybil was preceded in death by her father, Richard Paul Dawkins; her mother, Elizabeth Himil Dawkins and her daughter, Brenda Lynn Temple. She is survived by: her sisters, Caolyn Dawkins of Goose Creek and Mary Scheider of Hanahan; her brother, James Dawkins of Goose Creek; her daughter, Debra Lynn Lindsey of Mississippi; a granddaughter, Brelyn Nicole of Mississippi and a grandson, Keevan of Mississippi. Sybil looked forward to going to church every chance she got. The Earth has lost a beautiful human being. Heaven has gained a new angel.
