Suzy Williams Cooper CANTON, GA - Suzy Williams Cooper, 50, of Canton, GA, died on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 12, 1964, in Valdosta to Glen Clinton and Doris Smith Williams. Mrs. Cooper was of the Baptist Faith and had served as a salesperson for Resort Services Bluffton, SC. She was active in the Junior League in Savannah and Atlanta. Survivors include her husband, Randy Cooper of Canton, GA, parents Glen and Doris Williams of Thomasville; brother and sister-in-law, Gary S. Williams (Gina) of Roswell, GA: mother-in-law Joanne (Bobby) Payne of Ravenel, SC; sister-in-law Janice (Jay) Jester, of Boston, MA; two brothers-in-law, Rusty (Cindy) Cooper, and Alan Cooper of Charleston, SC: two nephews Blake (Katie) Williams and Chad Williams of Atlanta, great-nephew, Wyatt Williams of Atlanta; aunt, Elanor (Red Wilkerson, Lexington, Ky; two uncles, Dale (Carolyn) Williams Lake Park; and Roger Williams of Thomasville; niece Aldyn (Brandon) Sires of Atlanta; great-nephews Smith and Grey Sires of Atlanta; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and cousins, and Bugs, her Jack Russell companion. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Williams, and a brother-in-law Glenn Cooper. Funeral services for Mrs. Cooper will be Sunday, May 10, 2015 at 4:00 pm. in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Pastor Ron Wilkerson officiating, entombment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The Family will receive friends from 3:00 pm Sunday until funeral time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Epilespy Foundation.
